Definition of the variable

Women, creative and collaborative solidarity: the assertion of our full and whole solidarity with all women, our full trust in their capacity to act for development, our will to work as well as to provide tools and reasons for hope;

the importance of building women's competence networks combining will, knowledge and power: in terms of means, claims, pragmatism and imagination;

networks as spaces of peace and mutual respect for women living difficult situations in their country;

research by women, for women and about women, using information and communication tools in creative collaboration with the initiatives working on common goals at an international level;

the importance of collecting the wisdom of earlier times and of creating new stories as bridges to new futures;

searching for new language, new concepts to understand what we mean by development for ourselves as human beings, for our society, for our culture, for a more peaceful world;

the triple requirement of Millennia2015: to know, to understand and to propose, in order to strengthen the fundamental rights, to capitalize the initiatives and actions of progress, to promote a culture of respect of diversity and of peace.

321 source-variables (vs) have been extracted from the best sequences of the 62 interventions presented during Millennia2015's first international conference about "Information transfer" in Liege, 7 and 8 March 2008. Those source-variables have been connected to the main 37 variables in 3 rounds of choices (c1-c2-c3). The source-variables are presented in 2 languages: firstly the original language of the intervention (English or French), secondly the translation (English or French). Those source-variables contribute to define and explain the 37 variables.
