Summary

 

In short summary, the members of the Millennia2015 Think Tank consider as important:

 

to give women and girls access to written knowledge;

to improve their skills in information technologies;

to give them tools to increase their productivity and their empowerment;

to eliminate illiteracy - of which women and girls are victims - as well as poverty that comes from it;

to make them appropriate training accessible;

to train and give them access to ICTs that enable them acquiring knowledge;

to give them access to knowledge – prerequisite of empowerment – to its production and to resources;

to activate economic and social networks for boosting a sustainable economy managed by women;

to enhance creativity and productive activities of rural women;

to break isolation of women who do not have access to education and communication;

to strengthen multilingualism to reinforce linguistic and cultural diversity;

to provide women and girls with inexpensive structures with easy access thanks to ICTs;

to support development and spreading of scientific knowledge and best practices in French;

to strengthen telelearning structures and educational therapeutic tools (eLearning) for women and girls; 

 

to make mobile health (mHealth) accessible to all healthcare professionals;

to improve women's health by using ICTs to reach the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs);

to guarantee to all women, whatever their living conditions and places, access to health information and prevention through eHealth, mHealth or telemedicine;

to improve their access to medical care by making possible through remote diagnosis and real-time transmission of medical images;

to change mentalities about medicinal resources to improve health;

to release and make medical knowledge accessible to worldwide profit included to women's network;

to promote all pregnant women and nursing mothers access to specific cares and medical follow-up thanks to technologies;

to make call for assistance and care possible for all pregnant women;

to make the access to health care infrastructure possible when they need it;

to ensure that pregnant women are immediately taken into care by health care professional in health care structures: to train nurses to work in autonomy with new technologies and social medias;

to strengthen academic training in French in French-speaking countries for nurses to ensure the required transformation of health systems.
