Summary

 

In short summary, the members of the Millennia2015 Think Tank consider as important:

 

for women and girls, to recognize their talents and capacities at all levels ;

to help them taking care of their families while working;

to reduce illiteracy and poverty;

to support their access to education to empower them at intellectual and organisational levels;

to give them self-confidence and self-esteem;

to use their capacity for their participation to development process, to participate to medias by strengthening the application of ethics;

to take into consideration their capacity to think and build the future;

to direct them towards decision-making at all levels;

to mobilize their interest and capacities for information and communication society;

to motivate and integrate them into politics and decision-making in their country;

to give them the tools to pass on old knowledge that help new generations finding a balance between work of yesterday of jobs of today;

to give value to cultural values as vectors of harmony for the future;

to train women doctors, nurses and midwives to telemedicine and to equally integrate them into medical teams and as health educators.

076. Les filles en Afrique et particulièrement ici en RDC ont souvent honte de se présenter en public et par conséquent sont peu nombreuses dans les médias. Pour la participation au développement, beaucoup ont perdus leur confiance et pensent qu'elles sont faites uniquement pour la cuisine. Comment alors conscientiser ces femmes pour qu'elles s'estiment capables d'intégrer les médias, l'éthique et le processus de développement ?

076. Girls in Africa and in particular in DRC are ashamed to show in public and are thus less present in medias. For participation to development, many of them have lost their self-confidence and think they can only stay at home for cooking. So how can we make these women aware of their capacities and give them confidence in order that they think they have the abilities to join medias, ethics and development process?
