The discussions during this conference which started yesterday morning show that there are many points of convergence between UNESCO and Millennia2015 visions for gender equality and women's empowerment.

 

As our Director General mentioned yesterday, we really have to work all together, hand in hand, in order to support the achievement of these objectives and we hope we will get there in our respective strategies and mandates.
