Ending violence against women and girls:
• Equal numbers of women in courts, tribunals, police/law enforcement
agencies;
• Equal economic power for women at home, paidwork, and in
unpaid/voluntary work = equal pay + equal rights to marital/family
assets;
• No more ‘culture’/‘religion’ ‘excuses’ for crimes against women & girls;
• Name crimes against women & girls as ‘crimes’ –
– criminal assault at home & other forms of domestic violence, NOT ‘family
violence’ or ‘domestic violence’;
– ‘murder’ NOT ‘honour killings’ – no ‘honour’ in ending women & girls’ the
lives.
