Collective intelligence and digital skills as drivers for empowerment
International seminar of the Millennia2025 Women and Innovation Foundation
Namur, The Destree Institute and Circle of Wallonia,
Tuesday 8 October 2019
Objectives of the Millennia2025 digintelles 2019 seminar
The international digintelles 2019 seminar: collective intelligence and digital skills as drivers of empowerment aims to contribute to the Millennia2025 Women and Innovation Foundation's Intelligence Platform, third phase of the foresight process, in collaboration with MAD-Skills. The new Millennia2025 Scientific Committee will be presented on this occasion.
The aim of the digintelles 2019 seminar is to gather in Namur about thirty competent personalities working in these fields, to gather their contribution, to define together the concrete actions, the resources and the networks we have to mobilize. Each contributor will be invited to propose online, beforehand, a presentation document of their current work, research or actions related to collective intelligences in order to be added to the reflection bases of the seminar. These documents will be presented on the website of the Millennia2025 Foundation. At the end of the seminar day, the active conclusions will be presented (action plan, concrete actions, productive collaboration system, agenda).
The Millennia2025 Scientific Committee will (1) publish the 2019 digintelles memorandum and resolutions we will submit to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, in addition to the previous Millennia2025 recommendations, in order to (2) organize the next Foundation international conference in 2025 at the United Nations. This conference will aim to (3) present, implement and promote the results of the Millennia2025 Intelligence Platform in order to mobilize, with the findings and concrete actions elaborated together, the political and economic leaders of all countries against violence, for women's empowerment and equality, within the framework of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
