Summary
In short summary, the members of the Millennia2015 Think Tank consider as important:
to recognize that women and men are partners with equal rights at all levels : personal, professional and public life;
to accept that women have equal or higher degrees, positions or incomes to men without those one feel disparaged;
to mobilize medias so that they enhance innovative information produced by women in the same capacity as men; to convince medias to stop spreading sexist stereotypes;
to help women in their efforts of empowerment while facing social pressures;
to stop using women and girls as weapons of war in political and ethnical conflicts; to fight with all possible means sexual violence inflicted by so-called men on women and girls;
to give redress through laws, justice and health care to women and girls victims of sexual violence;
to give equal opportunities to girls and boys in all fields; to give the legitimate right to education, learning and training, from primary to academic level to girls;
to train population to change mentalities that discriminate women and girls;
to include "know how to live" and respect of human rights especially concerning women and girls, into basic school curricula;
to mobilize and convince women and families about the need of family planning;
to acknowledge and enhance women's capacities as creators of future;
to change men and boys mentality from the youngest age of education so that they recognize and respect women and girls as equal in rights, skills and capacities: to eliminate misogyny and sexist societal constructions;
to mobilize men and boys for respect and promotion of equality between women and men at all levels;
to include women's skills and quotas into work strength and values of countries;
to convince parents about how is it important for their daughters to get educated on an equal footing with their sons;
to fairly involve in women's participative skills in decision-making;
to recognize, take into account and strengthen rural women's skills;
to respect and enforce older women and widows' rights;
to balance men and women quotas in decision-making authorities.
